Welcome to my Store-y

This has been a long time in the making. I'm glad I've finally found the confidence to put my creative endeavours "out there" for all of you - Family, Friends and people I don't know - to see and purchase. 
I've always enjoyed writing silly poems and had always thought about having some sort of art to go alongside them - a feast for the eyes not just the ears. 
I know some of my poems can be serious, or talk about important issues. However I want poetry to be accessible, to have a message and that message to be understandable (but perhaps have a secret double meaning to it). Ultimately I want you to feel a light heartedness when reading it, not take it too seriously and maybe let it bring a smile to your face. 

I discovered linocut relief printing four years ago now and I instantly loved it. It felt like this was the media I had been looking for to bring the art in my mind to life and I just loved the whole process of it. Over the years I have been creating prints to go with poems, or just for fun, or for cards. So my family and friends have been receiving them for birthdays, Christmas' or any special occasion and it warmed my heart that they liked some enough that they would hang them up in their house. 

My creations are for me, yes, but it is because of my family, partner and friends how this shop and website came to be. I am so grateful for all their support, encouraging me to keep going with my creative endeavours despite the fact my self doubt was pushing me down a lot. Thank you for being by my side :)    

Via this website I offer my Linocut prints for now, but there will be other creative outlets which are close to my heart which will be available soon, so keep tuned!
