Collection: Cards

My cards are scanned and edited images of my relief prints. They are printed by a wonderful and magical method called Risograph.
Risograph printing is a lower energy way of printing and uses soy based inks. All the card stock I use is recycled as well as the envelopes. This means that in turn, you can recycle the cards or pop them in your compost bin.

Risograph is like a photocopier but with coloured inks. Each colour has it's own ink drum, which means each colour is printed separately. This means each paper you print has it's own special variation to the one before and after (very very slight) - I like this, and I hope you do too! When two colours overlap they create a third colour - adding a playful and joyful element to the design, and the design and creative process.

I am currently using a place in Glasgow - Risotto Studio - to print my cards. They are very helpful and amazing and I recommend them to anyone!
