This a reduction linocut relief print, which means there is a limited edition of prints.
Part of a series called "Learning Lessons"
This print has been done in 6 layers, taking away from the wood each time I print a new colour.
Limited Edition of 16 prints.
I have only listed on this online shop - the prints done on Ho-sho paper. I have more prints available to buy for the same price, but on a different paper. This "different paper" - are various Awagami papers, all with different weights, colours and textures. I prefer how the print looks on these papers, but because they each are different it makes it harder to sell online. If you would like one on one of these papers, contact me directly we can sort out which paper you would like.

---Packaging and Delivery---
This will be posted in a flat, cardboard protected envelope with the print being inside a plastic wrap (to protect from water) which is an upcycled pocket punched wallet. This can be further recycled at larger stores with Soft Plastics. It will be posted via Royal Mail Tracked 48hr (or 24hr).
---The Relief Print Process---
I currently make all my prints by hand - coming up with, drawing the design, tracing it to Lino and then carving, inking and pressing the Print. All in my home studio in Edinburgh. Due to each Print being separately inked and pressed by hand, there are small variations in the colour coverage, such is Relief Printing - lending each print being totally unique to you.
---Planet Friendly---
I do my best in my personal and Business life to think about the planet - from what inks I use and the companies I buy from, to how someone would dispose of something they have purchased from me after they have finished with it, to using up what I already have available to me. Anything I have included in your package, including the package itself, has been thought about with environment and our future planet in mind.
