This a reduction linocut relief print, which means there is a limited edition of prints.

This print has been done in 6 layers, taking away from the wood each time I print a new colour.
Limited Edition of 24 prints.
There are 4 paper options to choose from, each have their own merits, so it is up to you which you choose.
Option 1 - Canaletto Velino 160gsm 20% cotton, acid free white paper with a straight edge.
Option 2 - Awagami Okawara Select, 51gsm (fairly transparent) acid free, off white/cream colour with deckled edge.
Option 3 - Awagami Kitakata Select, 90gsm, acid free, cream/tan off white with a deckled edge. (personal favourite!)
Option 4 - Awagami Shiramine Select 110gsm, acid free, off white with deckled edge.

Design carved into 9mm Birch Plywood.
Printed on various papers, most are Japanese Awagami papers with lovely soft texture and colours. Acid free.
Using Schmicke Aqua Linocut Waterbased inks
Size of paper - W130mm by H190mm with the image being roughly W140mm by H100mm
---Packaging and Delivery---
This will be posted in a flat, cardboard protected envelope with the print being inside a plastic wrap (to protect from water) which is an upcycled pocket punched wallet. This can be further recycled at larger stores with Soft Plastics. Each print comes with a Certificate of Authenticity and information on how to care for your product. It will be posted via Royal Mail Tracked 48hr (or 24hr).
---The Relief Print Process---
I currently make all my prints by hand - coming up with, drawing the design, tracing it to Lino and then carving, inking and pressing the Print. All in my home studio in Edinburgh. Due to each Print being separately inked and pressed by hand, there are small variations in the colour coverage, such is Relief Printing - lending each print being totally unique to you.
