The wood used to carve out the design was a Magnolia wood endgrain Block
Printed on Ho-sho paper - a 90gsm Lightweight Japanese Paper in a soft white and a slight and lovely texture. Acid free.
Using Schmicke Aqua Linocut Waterbased inks
Size of paper - W140mm by H197mm with the image being W100mm by H150mm
---Packaging and Delivery---
This will be posted in a flat, cardboard protected envelope with the print being inside a plastic wrap (to protect from water) which is an upcycled pocket punched wallet. This can be further recycled at larger stores with Soft Plastics. It will be posted via Royal Mail Tracked 48hr (or 24hr).
---The Woodblock Print Process---
I currently make all my prints by hand - coming up with, drawing the design, tracing it to Wood (or Lino) and then carving, inking and pressing the Print. All in my home studio in Edinburgh. Due to each Print being separately inked and pressed by hand, there are small variations in the colour coverage, such is Relief printing - lending each print being totally unique to you.
