"Camo Captain" Original Handmade Woodcut Print

Titled "Camo Captain" This is my first Woodcut piece.
It is a two block print - meaning for each colour you see on the Print, there is a separate block which I hand carved to reveal the image.

This piece plays homage to my cat and my garden in the summer, and how much he loves being amongst the flowers and hiding in the greenery. I hope it brings you as much joy as he does me.

This piece was not hand pressed but actually pressed at Edinburgh Printmakers using their large press nicknamed Egor!

---Print Specifications---
This has been printed on Somerset Satin Paper a size of 193mm by 283mm. Titled, dated and signed by me. A two colour print; Green and Yellow/Orange.
Suggested Frame - fits into an IKEA LOMVIKEN - 21cm by 30cm Photographed without a mount.

---Packaging and Delivery---
This will be posted in a flat, cardboard protected envelope with the print being inside a plastic wrap (to protect from water) which is an upcycled pocket punched wallet which can be recycled at larger stores with Soft Plastics. It will be posted via Royal Mail Tracked 48hr (or 24hr)

---The Relief Print Process---
I currently make all my prints by hand - coming up with, and drawing the design, tracing it to Lino or Wood and then carving, inking and pressing the Print. All in my home studio in Edinburgh. Due to each Print being separately inked and pressed by hand, there are small variations in the colour coverage, such is the nature of Relief Printing - lending each print being totally unique to you.

I do my best in my personal and Business life to think about the planet - from what inks I use and the companies I buy from, to how someone would dispose of something they have purchased from me after they have finished with it, to using up what I already have available to me. Anything I have included in your package, including the package itself, has been thought about with environment and our future planet in mind.
