For years Monika had made earrings as a gift to her friends. I always absolutely loved them - not just because she had such a fabulous eye for combining beads, but because she upcycled beads - some glass, real gems, wood - trying to source higher quality beads and attaching them to surgical steel hooks.
I wanted to share with the world just how talented she was and to celebrate the fact that something beautiful can be created from something discarded. We each find magic where others may not. So I asked Monika to make some earrings for me to sell at a market - and now you can buy them here.
